Strengths-Based Classroom Manager

This professional development program is designed to help educators develop classroom management skills that promote healthy behavior and optimize student engagement and performance by focusing on strengths.

Strengths-Based Classroom Manager Begins With Strengths 101

Strengths 101: Introduction for Educators

Great teachers do things differently than average teachers. Regardless of their unique abilities and practices, all great teachers have one thing in common -- they know their talents and they leverage them in the classroom. Participants in Strengths 101 will learn to define their top five strengths as assessed by the Clifton StrengthsFinder and apply their strengths in the classroom through strengths-based principles, concepts, and practices.

Strengths 301: Classroom Management
This course is designed to help educators develop classroom skills that promote healthy behavior and optimize student performance. Students in this course will use strengths psychology to gain a deeper understanding of human motivation and behavior. Effective teachers recognize factors and situations that are likely to promote or diminish intrinsic motivation and know how to help all students become self-motivated.
